Missing my homies

I have alot of friends in my life, but no one could ever replace the few who grew up together with me as brothers since we were lil' boys. Who are these bros of mine? They are Nick, Daniel, Murphy and Joshua. We've basically been through everything together. We are like a pack of wolves who hunt together and never seperate. But as we grew older, we were slowly seperated. A few had to go out of town to further their studies. Nick is now at Perth, Murphy at K.L and Joshua at Brisbane. Leaving me and Daniel behind.

It's sad to be seperated from your closest friends but that's just part of life. I sometimes think back on the times when we were a band called "Fallen Angel". Daniel on drums, Murphy on lead guitar, Joshua on bass and I on vocals and guitar. Yeah....those were the times. Owh I almost forgot, Nick was the band manager due to his "walking ATM machine status" if you know what I'm talkin about..haha..

I love this pic. It was taken at BarZ!ng when we all had nothing better to do then having an afternoon drinking session. Sigh~ I really miss those days... From front to back: Joshua, Jace, Murphy, Kiam, Nick and Daniel.

Those were just a few out of the many great memories we had together back in the days. I cherished every single moment of it till today. I know that it has been a long time since we've hung out together, but I am looking forward to the next time we do anxiously.

Special message from me to

Nick : You are the closest friend I have ever had and although you are sometimes very "pubo", I know deep inside that I'm more pubo than you and that's what keeps our frienship together. Lol. Seriously bro, you're the best and take care of yourself over there! Bros 4 life!!!

Murphy : One of my closest homie, we've pulled of more pranks together on Abel than we could count. Lol. Most of all, we have the same interest in bands and music...not to mention humour...haha...all i can say is...bros 4 life!

Daniel : With the rest gone, we both study at the same school. And we've been through alot together...ever fight with each other too back in primary 6...haha...you've helped me alot and for that I wanna thank you, Niu! Bros 4 life!!

Joshua : We used to fight alot back in primary 5 huh ? Lol...can you believe it...from enemies to becoming close friends. But I'm glad I gained a friend in you.. Take care of yourself at Brisbane yeah! Bros 4 life!!

I miss you guys dearly and I know it's not like me to write things like this but I just gotta let you guys, my bros know of how much each of you mean to me cuz maybe one day it'll be to late to say it. Don't worry I'm still the same ol' pubo Jace...well...maybe I've gotten a lil soft BUT...nevertheless, make no mistake about it...I'm still pubo!! haha...

It's so boring!!

As you all may know, Kuching is really boring. There's not much places to go especially if you have a car. Oh how I miss the old days when we still haven't got our driver'ss license, we would go around town by foot and call on taxies if we wanted to go to other places, and the best part about that is we wouldn't be bored at all. lol. Nowadays, it's just the same daily routine over and over again. All we usually do is go to Jalan Song and "yam cha" at Stove Kitchen, a restaurant which is newly opened for business. Other than that, we would go to Gizmo Gamers to play DOTA. Boring life huh? lol. Sometimes if we are really bored we would go to the cinema and watch a movie. Wait, we could actually go clubbing right ? No, I've quit that part of my life long ago. I wouldn't go clubbing unless it is a special occasion. I guess this kinda influenced most of my friends as they seldom go to clubs too, haha. Anyways, I'm going to repeat my daily routine now. Sayonara!

It's been a long time since I've logged in

Well, as you can see from my last blog, it's been more than a year since I've actually touched my blog. But that's gonna change as I will be actively bloggin from here on out...haha...p.s I was very bored when I logged in...

Well...I just realised that I haven't even blog in over 2 months...I guess I'll blog about a story....My story....

About my beloved crew Cript Ballas....On the way to the top...It all started with Ah Jo,Nicky and I hanging out at Tun Jugah Mall last March (2007)...We were street shuffling everywhere we went...Then suddenly we decided to come up with a shuffle crew named "Cript Ballas"....During that time there were only 2 shuffle crews in Kuching...I dont have to mention what crews cuz you already know...I'm here to blog about the full story of Cript Ballas,which includes our performances,events,competitions,downfalls and most importantly...CHAMPIONSHIPS! This is the story of our first season.

When we started this crew,Ah Jo,Nicky and I were the 3 leaders...Our shuffling skills were noob and Ah Jo only knew C-Walk...So we practised for a couple of months,and recruited new crew members such as Sean,Joshua,Murphy and Abel.They were the few earliest members of Cript Ballas.Down the road of practise we came across another potential shuffler,Aaron Chan a.k.a Soonz.He was a good shuffler and also a good friend of mine.Our first exposure of Cript Ballas was at William's Brithday party at his brother's futsal court(KickOff!)..We shuffled there showing people what we were about..Although our skills weren't that good yet,we still shuffled as a dedication to the birthday boy William and to expose ourselves to the public that we're a shuffle crew named Cript Ballas...

Shortly after,our crew member,Sean was leaving Kuching for Perth,Australia...He threw a party at his house and invited all his close friends to say farewell...Cript Ballas also shuffled at his party..but he was the star...Shuffling with tears knowing this maybe the last time that he will be shuffling with us...He was proud,wearing the first Cript Ballas Tee and shuffling his heart out for everyone to see his passion and love for this crew...After the night turned to dawn,we went home and barely slept cuz we had to go to the airport and say goodbye to my 11 years childhood friend...it was a sad day for Ballas..as soon as his plane went off the ground,it started to rain..I guess heaven can feel the sadness in us and cried along with us...

Although Sean was gone,we continued practising and down the road we recruited new members such as Ah Kiong,my brother Wilson,Jason Kon a.k.a Ah Pui,Ah Kiam,Kevin Chai,Edwin,Jeremy and Aaron Law.But we eventually lost Nicky and Ah Jo due to some problems and I was left as the sole leader of Cript Ballas.We started learning routines for our upcoming performance at Yeo's Annual Dinner at Holiday Inn and William's Bowling Event at Riverside Bowl.These were the first 2 official performances for Cript Ballas.

After these performances,we came across loads of other performances and events.Going to CHMS No.1 for the Max Studio Talent Audition was one of them.There were 120+ people Auditioning which included singing and dancing...We performed last but we managed to pass the audition.

Well,there are some other left out events during our first season,but this kinda wraps it up. Stay tuned for the story of Cript Ballas' 2nd Season..^^
